De Noord-Londense The Honeycombs bestaan van 1963 tot 1967. De honingraten hebben een hit: Have I the Right? Honey Langtree is de vrouwelijke drummer die prikkend drumt. Bijzonder genoeg om te vermelden. Slag-, klap- en stampwerk staat centraal. Denis D’Ell ofwel Denis Dalziel sprint zingend naar het einde van dit snelle nummer.

Punkband The Dead Kennedys zetten in 1979 Have I the Right? van Ken Howard en Alan Blaikley op het album Live at the The Deaf Club. Hun altijd gejaagde tempo verschilt niet eens zoveel van dat van The Honeycombs. Prettig gestoord als het ware. Muziek die blij bijblijft.
